《博雅阅读·泛读》是根据《高等学校英语专业基础阶段英语教学大纲》的要求编写的英语专业基础阶段泛读教材，共四册。
朱沛杰、胡安奇主编的《博雅阅读泛读(3)》分为三个部分，分别介绍哲学、历史学和社会学。每个话题由三个单元组成，每个单元包括一篇主课文和一篇课外延伸阅读(section E)，从多个角度全面、深入阐述相关主题内容。课文选材多出自大家之手，力求丰富、权威；练习题目多以问题回答、主旨概括、观点阐述、辩论等形式呈现，强调学生对课文的理解，强调学生表达观点的能力，突出开放性、批判性，兼顾实践性。
